Want to be a part of building something great? Become a member of one of the Seminole County Chamber's standing committees. Being a part of a committee is a great opportunity to build relationships with individuals and businesses with similar interests.

Our Economic Development Committee leads collaboration and communication to initiate and coordinate with other economic development resources in Seminole County and the region. The committee examines ways to serve as a resource for other entities by leveraging the Chamber and other business resources.

The Economic Development Committee hosts the annual Business Resource Showcase, providing free resources from various business support agencies to new and growing companies.
The Committee also hosts Economic Development visits. These visits are designed to foster professional connections, promote collaboration, and deepen understanding of the business community’s role in the economic development of Seminole County.
