Chamber Committees include:
- Economic Development: Leads Chamber advocacy, collaboration, and communication to initiate and coordinate with other economic development resources in Seminole County and the region. The committee examines ways to serve as a resource for other entities by leveraging Chamber and other business resources.
- Growth & Engagement: This overarching committee focuses on adding value to Chamber membership by properly aligning our Area Councils & other membership groups while also providing recommendations which best deliver growth and engagement opportunities within the Chamber and throughout the Seminole County business community. Also responsible for the planning and promotion of chamber wide monthly business-after-hours events and community outreach days.
- Issues & Government Affairs: The Issues Committee focuses on the key governmental issues that face businesses today. The committee meets every other month and brings in key speakers who can explain and answer questions about a variety of business issues. The committee regularly holds special events and is responsible for the annual trip to Tallahassee, Capital Connections.
- SeminoleTech: SeminoleTech is a grass-roots effort of the Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce to help foster and grow the thriving technology industry in our region. The group meets on the first Wednesday of every month at the Seminole State Heathrow Campus, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and features speakers from the technology industry.
