This overarching committee focuses on adding value to Chamber membership by properly aligning our Area Councils & other membership groups while also providing recommendations which best deliver growth and engagement opportunities within the Chamber and throughout the Seminole County business community. Also responsible for the planning and promotion of chamber wide monthly business-after-hours events and community outreach days.

Amy Kirkland is the Director of the Center for Business Development at Seminole State College. Prior to her current position, she managed the Small Business Development Center at SSC, assisting clients in starting, and growing their small businesses. As the owner of two Seminole County businesses over the past 25 years, Broadway Dancewear, a retail dance boutique, and Wonderfaux Designs, a custom decorative painting company, Amy learned firsthand what it took to be successful. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tampa, double majoring in Business Administration and Psychology. She served as captain of the UT women’s swim team, and was named an NCAA two-time All American. She received her MBA from Western Governors University.

Rachael Kobb is the Government Relations Manager for Orlando Health, a $2.8 billion not-for-profit health care organization. In this role she advocates for programs and policies critical to Orlando Health, including preserving the ability for level one trauma systems to remain viable and protecting and enhancing funding and services for vulnerable children and babies. Rachael is heavily involved in the Central Florida community and proud to serve as Chair of the Seminole County Chamber’s Issues & Government Affairs Committee. She holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Political Science from Temple University and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Central Florida.

Becc Lester has a diverse background of music, theater, television, nursing and education. She has been with the Orlando Science STEM Charter Schools since 2008 and an entertainer at Universal Studios for over 15 years. She moved to Historic Sanford, Florida as it reminded her of home, Memphis, Tennessee where she was a Grammy nominated Vocalist who traveled all over the world while releasing 7 cd’s internationally. “Florida is my home and I am honored to be part of the educational community and to help nurture the relationship of STEM schools with on a global level to create change and alter the philosophy of education now and in the future!”

I have lived and worked in the Orlando Metro area for most of my life. Connecting and fostering cooperation between communities is my passion. I am a member of the Altamonte Council Committee of the Seminole Regional Chamber of Commerce, and have worked in the Growth and Engagement Committee for the Chamber. I also serve as a Board Member of FAVOB, a veteran's organization, as well, as serve an Ambassador for 1 Million Cups, an organization that promotes entrepeneurship.
Collette Rance joined Allgood Financial as the company’s very first Agency Chief, and is now serving as V.P. for Agent Development. According to the company’s CEO, Don Carlson, “Collette has years of experience in Health Insurance, Life Insurance, and Investment Products, and she’s a great agent. But that’s just one aspect of her resume that impressed us. She’s also a talented teacher and trainer, and we plan to put those skills to good use.”
Before pursuing a career in Financial Services, Ms. Rance worked as Assistant Principal for OCPS. She’s especially excited about the teaching aspect of her new position. She’ll be responsible for training new agents who may need guidance within her specific areas of expertise.

Wendy Taylor President of Strategic Online Marketing has 19 years experience in digital marketing. Wendy’s digital marketing experience started in 1997 when she graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with her B.S. in Business Administration and her B.A. in Communication. In 2002, Wendy earned her M.B.A. from Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business in Winter Park, Florida. Her concentration was in Marketing and E-Commerce.
Wendy specializes in e-mail marketing, search engine optimization, social media and search engine marketing. She has worked for Southwest Airlines Vacations, both Cox Radio and CBS Radio in Orlando and the Lake County Florida School Board. Wendy has worked as an adjunct professor at Stetson University, she has also done guest lecturing at Rollins College, the University of Central Florida and ITT Tech in Lake Mary, Florida. Wendy is a guest columnist for the Orlando Business Journal.

Brandy’s specialty is to consolidate information to prepare financials statements, analyze financials and ratios, and review/educate clients on their historical and future financial trends.
