Galileo School For Gifted Learning Announces New Campus At Fundraising Gala
October 5, 2018 – Sanford, Fla. – Galileo School for Gifted Learning will hold their first annual fundraising gala event to raise proceeds for their second campus: Galileo Skyway. The event will be held on Friday, October 12th at the University of Central Florida’s CFE Arena.
“We’re incredibly excited to hold this gala for parents and members of the community to benefit continuing Galileo’s mission of providing innovative education,” expressed Dr. Michele Gill, Founder of Galileo. “Expanding our school with a second campus will allow us to enroll more passionate students and offer them the nurturing learning environment we’re known for.”
The event will feature live music, entertainment, a silent auction and a special “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?” rendition, where local celebrities and personalities go head-to-head with Galileo fifth graders. Notable guests include Sanford mayor Jeff Triplett, Longwood commissioner and former WWE wrestler Matt Morgan, actress Joy Kigin from Nickelodeon’s “I am Frankie” and more.
“Galileo values building meaningful relationships between staff, students and their parents,” continues Gill. “This gala will be an exciting opportunity to bring the community together and have a great time all in the name of providing valuable education for the students of Seminole County.”
Tickets for the gala are $75 and include food and entertainment for two guests, plus two adult beverages. Tickets can be purchased on the Galileo website.
