On Friday, October 26, 2018, from 11 AM to 4 PM, the Early Learning Coalition of Seminole will be partnering with Panda Express to help raise match funds to directly support Early Learning programs. This event will be held at the Panda Express in Altamonte Springs located at 275 East Altamonte Drive.
When you come to the Panda Express store location with the event flyer or order online using the promo code 254605 — 20% of all sales will be donated to the Early Learning Coalition of Seminole (ELC of Seminole).
Born out of legislation in 1999, the ELC of Seminole is a nonprofit charitable organization, which aims to provide access to quality early learning for all children in Seminole County. They help to educate the next generation, which translates to higher employment and self-sufficiency for Seminole County families.
Plus, by contracting with hundreds of local child care providers, the Coalition also helps to circulate taxpayer’s dollars back into the community, which makes them one of the county’s major economic drivers.
The ELC of Seminole’s purpose is to improve opportunity and reduce stress on parents by offering affordable child care, which allows them to better contribute to the workforce while strengthening the life trajectory of the next generation. One of the ways they do this is by investing in their network of child care providers through trainings, continuous opportunities to further their education and implementing child performance standards.
