Join us for an evening of exploring the cosmos at Trotwood Park! Members of the Central Florida Astronomical Society will be on hand with telescopes to show you and your family some highlights of the Spring sky, including the planet Jupiter and some gorgeous star clusters. If you're curious about the universe that surrounds us, stop by and be amazed by what's right over your head.
If you have your own telescope - bring it along! We'd love to welcome you into our group of Winter Springs astronomy enthusiasts.
You'll find us at the Trotwood Blvd. entrance to Trotwood Park, near the small pavilion at the circular parking area. Look for the red lights in the field.
It's all about participation - so if you can swing by for even a half hour we'd love to see you there! Keep in mind we may start packing up around 10 depending on the conditions and the crowd, so arrive earlier if you can.
Remember this event is subject to city park rules - no pets, and no alcohol. Check before heading out; in the event of cloudy skies we'll reschedule.
